Not the biggest piece of news to hit us this year but Google have reconfirmed that Search is the primary focus of the company by increasing the size of their Search box and the size of the text that you type in (which also helps from a usability perspective):
Google has always been first and foremost about search, and we’re committed to building and powering the best search on the web — now available through a supersized search box.
Just in case the likes of Bing and any other challengers to the throne have forgetten that Google still ‘controls’ 70-80% of the search market in most countries.
