I’m the Social Media Manager here at iCrossing UK which means I’m responsible for the resourcing of our projects as well as ensuring that our work meets both our high standards of quality and is up-to-date with the very latest innovations.

My love of the web goes way back to picking up the first UK edition of Wired magazine in 1995. On the front cover was a picture of Thomas Paine and the quote “we have it in our power to begin the world over again”. I understood that the web facilitates this ability, that it is primarily a social and cultural artefact and that it is defined by the people who use it to communicate and interact with one another. Since then I have pursued my understanding of this idea both as an observer and as a participant.

I worked as an Account Manager and a Social Media Analyst before moving into my current role.
